CurrentTYPICAL DUTIES PERFORMED:Ensure an excellent guest experience.Oversee the daily operations of the Aquatics Center.Plan, develop, conduct, supervise, and manage a wide variety of activities regarding the operations of the Aquatics Center.Act for the Aquatics Supervisor in his/her absence.Train, supervise, and mentor lifeguards, instructors, and other aquatic staff.Maintain accurate records; prepare thorough reports, and written communications as needed.Take charge of emergency situations and provide emergency care as necessary.Assign job responsibilities such as facility clean up and maintenance.Test and monitor water chemistry and clarity; and inspect facilities.May assist with daily operations of Splash! Food Service including, but not limited to, food preparation, customer service, cash handling, inventory control, merchandise and supply restocking and facility upkeep.Assist in citywide special events and community recreation activities.Adhere to City and departmental policies and procedures.May perform the duties of a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor.Perform related duties as required or assigned.
