Greetings from Virginia Beach! I am a transitioning teacher with previous experience in customer service work as well. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching as well as a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies. I am currently licensed in Virginia to teach elementary students, prek-6. My 12 years in the classroom afforded me the opportunity to master many skills: multitask, plan, organize, edit, revise, meet deadlines, document data, communicate with families, collaborate with peers. All this while educating 24 students at their appropriate level and fostering relationships to make sure each student feels supported, encouraged and safe to make mistakes. I am looking for a career change, to create a better work/life balance to support my own children at home. I am searching for part time, remote work that will challenge me to add even more skills to my toolbox. I am a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. I am able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy and strive to exceed expectations.
