After working on their marketing team for the summer of 2022, I was graciously offered a full-time position upon graduating with my master's degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Point Park University. I am now a full-time staff member as the Marketing & Media Assistant. I run BCTCB's social media pages, create content through my original photography and videography, and write copy for event promotion and blog posts. I love highlighting the many small businesses, hotels, parks, theaters, that make up the over 300 members of the Bureau.

During my time as a graduate assistant for the Center for Media Innovation my biggest project was to revitalize our High School Media Day event. This is The School of Communication's biggest recruitment event of the year. From the fall 2021 event to the Fall 2022 event I doubled attendance. I was responsible for outreach coordination, volunteer recruitment, and booking our speakers. I also lead graphic design for the event. In this six-month temp position I was able to get my foot in the door of the marketing world, transitioning from the news industry. Working for the Admissions and Finacial Aid office marketing team I designed copy for their emails, website, and marketing campaigns. This involved researching best writing strategies and statistics for various email marketing plans. I was in charge of proofreading copy to ensure consistency and accuracy. I also edited and created captions for video content.

As a weekend anchor I both produce and bring my personality to the desk. When off the desk, I work as the sole digital content producer, collecting new and shareable content for our website. And before each show I connect with our viewers through Facebook Live.
