Contracting through Certified Traveling Registrars and assisting facilities in Cancer Abstracting utilizing different database applications. Proficient in Metriq, RegistryPlus, and Oncolog. I can abstract with EFFICIENCY and ACCURACY up to 31 cancer cases a day validated by CENTRAL registry, pending the information provided or sent in medical record. I can type over 65 wpm and 10 key punch with speed, accuracy and quality. I keep in constant communication with all parties involved with updates and information needed in order to provide a complete and accurate abstract.

Perform the functions/job duties for the Cancer Registry for St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron Cancer Program. I can proficiently and accurately abstract over 8 abstracts a day due to highly proficient typing and 10-key punch skills (pending cancer site I lately abstracted 31 cancer cases validated by the Central registry for accuracy and completeness) I can maneuver through many database EMR applications and am proficient in three different oncology databases. I assist with ensuring CoC standards are met, develop quality studies based on specific incidences occurring within the community and more. I am very proactive and believe in high quality standards for exceptional patient cancer care. I am on several committees throughout the hospital to promote and ensure quality programs and patient care.
