Oversaw project teams composed of vendor, business, and IT members to deliver on-time SDLC milestones with both Waterfall and Agile SDLC methods. Successfully optimized and automated audit assurance, risk assessment, SOX 404 compliance, and issue remediation/monitoring processes within the new platform. Developed and deployed a training program for the SOX 404 compliance module, and successfully trained over 2000 global end users as part of the module deployment.Coordinated the deployment of ITIL based support processes for the Internal Audit department’s systems, including vendor management and vendor performance metric development. Championed the continuous improvement of audit assurance processes including developing processes and tools to enable remote audit, continuous auditing, and data analytics.

Managed the Advanced Planning System (APS) and the JD Edwards Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system for Ethicon’s North American Operations. These planning systems provided make, buy, and transfer signals to 45 global manufacturing, sterilization and distribution locations for over 30,000 distinct finished goods and raw materials.Responsible for the data interfaces into the Common Data Location (Oracle 10g database) for over 20 separate ERP instances that fed static and transactional data to the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Metrics tools. Led projects involving IT and business users to implement and maintain data interfaces and to optimize planning tools used by the business community. This included performing Kaizen reviews and using process excellence tools to identify process weaknesses and to provide value-added solutions.Championed the use of Oracle Application Express and developed and rolled out over 50 Oracle APEX applications to the Ethicon global operations teams. These included Capacity Utilization, Back Order Availability, Data Integrity, Planning Analysis and Metrics reports.

Created and led a project to harmonize over 500,000 product codes across J&J MD&D as part of the Global Product Registration Database Project. Worked with external freight forwarders, J&J distribution centers, Global Transportation Organization, and management to create a business case for increased trace-ability on all international internal shipments in the J&J network. The result was the approval/kickoff of the Supply Chain Visibility project, targeting $35 MM in savings.Led the development of multiple web applications to support on-going supply chain initiatives such as continuous replenishment and supply chain competencies. Led the development and roll-out of the Supply Chain Network Design Strategy (SCNDS) tool to all Medical Device and Diagnostic Companies in J&J. This tool enabled the gathering of key supply chain data and the visualization of the supply chain network, as well as model future supply chains. Collaborated with the Worldwide Operations Asset Management Vice President to analyze/develop a solution to track and report on all of the physical plant assets in J&J.
