Currently serve as the Technical Director for the Cloud Computing Program Office in the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). In this role, I am responsible for the strategic technical direction of the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) Cloud program, along with numerous other Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Cloud initiatives, such as Commercial Virtual Remote (CVR), Global Directory, DoD Cloud Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and the CLOAK program. In this role I strive to push CCPO forward to help all DoD partners understand the speed and innovation that cloud can bring to everything they do while working to enable their ability to rapidly purchase and deploy cloud environments in a secure manner.

Acted as the key technical advisor and provided strategic technical vision for the DISA Computing Ecosystem. The Computing Ecosystem consists of 9 Enterprise grade Data Centers across the world, and employs over 2000+ technical employees. Acted as a key resource to lead and guide efforts that cross all modern and legacy technology types.

Assisted the White House in filling a critical role as Information System Security Manager and Chief of White House Information Assurance while assisting with finding a permanent fill for the role. Provided oversight of all White House unclassified networks and communication while also evaluating the risk associated with technology changes.

Duties include maintaining DHCP and DNS servers for local site, local Intranet Web server running Apache and Coldfusion 7, radius server with both open source and IAS, Active Directory layout and administration, local VPN using Cisco technology, Cisco network supporting 1100+ nodes, and enterprise level search appliance. Worked with applications such as Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Oracle, Autocad 2000 - 2008, AutoCad Inventor Series, Framemaker, Visio Enterprise, Lotus Notes, Macromedia Cold Fusion Server 4-7, Content@ Document Management system, Citrix MetaFrame, Meta-IP, X-Metal, and Webtrends Enterprise Reporting server. Position includes minor coding including in-depth Cold-fusion development, simple shell scripting in csh, ksh and bash, VBS and JSP; Application deployment experience using SMS, SCCM, and group policies. Required to repackage application for deployment using Winbatch, VBS, and Wise Install Studio. Position includes level 2 application/hardware support for local site, supporting 350-400 user systems running Microsoft XP on various desktop/laptop setups. Act as the sole administrator/engineer for all UNIX systems. UNIX environment includes 9 Sun servers running various versions of Solaris and 4 Linux servers running SuSE Enterprise Linux. Position included Hardware staging, imaging, and configuring customer purchased systems. Systems included a variety of Desktops, Laptops, and Servers from a variety of hardware vendors. Other responsobilities included outlining processes, troubleshooting Hardware and software problems, database management and troubleshooting network problems on a Mid-Sized Novell Network. Created images for customer PC's and servers as well as managed customer supplied images to ensure correct images was used.
