Developed and operated a unique model to improve the quality of education for underserved children in India and Nepal. Utilizing two prongs - the establishment of high quality, low cost schools and the launch of an international volunteer program, “Effect Expeditions,” a program that leveraged tech company employees to travel and apply low-cost solutions to pressing problems for nonprofits.° Led growth by opening 5 schools, educating 5K children, and training 121 teachers while effectively managing a team of 45 across India, Nepal and the United States. ° Led strategic fundraising efforts by partnering with leading tech companies, influencers, and small donors to raise $2.1 million in donations, a 300% increase over 4 years. ° Headed curriculum development resulting in a 22% increase in student learning and outperformed competing schools by 32%, utilizing standardized testing results and market data.° Developed mobile apps optimized for low-connectivity environments to ensure homogeneous management and effective operations at all schools.° Brokered partnerships with Google, Salesforce, VMware, and Adobe to lead over 300 employees on social impact hackathons designing tech solutions to address human trafficking, education access, and migrant crisis that benefitted over 280,000 people.° Led 20 international expedition hackathons resulting in 104 technology projects for 45 nonprofit partners including: CRM for anti-human trafficking nonprofits to record and track trafficking survivors; a low-tech jobs app to train migrants; and data-driven apps to increase lesson efficacy in classrooms.° Headed grant disbursement of over $500K dollars to nonprofits to fund 3 solar panel systems for women's shelters, 2 fresh water systems for small villages, and computer systems to train thousands of migrants.
