Senior Compliance Officer
CurrentI lead the development and management of a robust Compliance Management System (CMS) that ensures our bank’s adherence to all federal and state regulations, including consumer protection regulations, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws, and FFIEC principals and standards. I conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring the institution remains compliant with evolving regulatory standards. Develop, enhance and maintain complaint management system, oversee third-party risk management, ensuring that vendors and partners adhere to our compliance requirements through rigorous due diligence and ongoing monitoring. I also lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with regulatory expectations and train staff at all levels to ensure compliance throughout the organization. I serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, managing regulatory exams, audits, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. Additionally, I review and approve marketing materials to ensure compliance with advertising and fair lending regulations. I manage compliance incidents and drive a culture of ethical behavior and accountability throughout the bank. With oversight of Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) program management, I ensure all third-party fintech partnerships align with our risk appetite and regulatory framework. I regularly report to the board and executive leadership on the status of the compliance program, identified risks, and recommended actions.
