I support the high pressure die cast department. This is accomplished primarily through supporting all quality aspects of the department, working directly with the Quality Coordinator and Engineering Coordinator. I perform daily quality statistical monitoring, followed by root cause analysis and counter measure activity to mitigate production loss from either quality issues or decreased OEE. Frequent processing changes and occasional physical changes are required on our Toshiba die cast machines and Honda produced dies to support this activity. I also support any new model activity throughout the process from a die cast perspective. I have also contributed to the training and development of incoming engineers through hands on situations.

Departmental Quality Engineer for heavy duty rubber bearing seals. Responsible for problem solving, counter-measures, continuous improvement, quality reporting and training. Develop and implement inspection methods for floor associates.

Responsible for all Gaging and Calibration compliance for TS16949 tier one supplier for Honda. Research, budgeting, ordering and implementation of both hand-held and larger gages. Maintained all calibration and repair records. Provided gages and training for both production and new model areas. Supervised CMM programmers and gage support staff. Also trained as an internal/external auditor.
