Serve as driver's supervisor/representative in Operations. Manage drivers performance in identified categories and be primary communication link to drivers. Work to achieve optimum driver and customer satisfaction.Responsible for assigned full fleet of tractors and drivers,including, but not limited to effective management for optimum performance in the following categories:-On-time pickup and delivery performance-Freight protection -Out of route miles-Hours of service compliance-Driver availability-Route position backup coverage -Accommodation of special routing needs-Cost control-Fleet safety based on numbers generated by in cab telematicsDaily customer service functions:-Entering customer orders from different tendering methods including email, EDI, & API. Verifying accuracy and routing of entered shipments.

-Class A CDL (2018)-Operate vehicle safely within DOT regulations that govern safe driving, hours of service, inspection, maintenance, and transportation of undamaged products to customers. -Read and interpret shipping labels and bills of lading. Familiarity with, and in some cases ability to complete the various forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, freight bills, overage/damage movement reports and exception forms.-Available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.-Utilize a liftgate and electric pallet jack to deliver freight to customers without a dock or forklift
