My name is Casey Krouse and I am a graduate of Drexel University with a bachelors degree in Sport Management.During my time at Drexel, I was fortunate enough to participate in 2 co-op experiences. The first was at Ardmore Music Hall, where I was supposed to assist with facility and venue operations. However, COVID made in person business impossible at that time. Despite this, I still was able to gain professional skills such as communication with co-workers and supervisors. I also learned how to help streamline a company’s internal documents for future use.My second co-op was at Campbell Rocco Law, where I was an intern for Edmond Campbell. While COVID again limited the opportunities I was presented, I was able to get insight into the legal field and decide if it is a career path for me. After my undergraduate degree is complete, I hope to attend Law school and pursue a career in the legal side of the Sport industry. One Skill that I possess that separates me from my peers is my ability to adapt. As someone with a visual impairment, I spend every day trying to find accessible ways to accomplish common tasks. This has given me great experience with problem solving, and often times the solutions I find are just as effective for fully sighted people. I think my perspective is invaluable to any company.
