Moving into this role I still oversee many of my responsibilities I had as a coordinator such as continuing to build upon internal grids and tracking documents to ensure the team has all the necessary information at our finger tips. However, I've been able to lean more into the executive capacity by covering numerous development projects, leaning into a producorial mindset looking for IP to development, building relationships with agents and managers to educate myself on talent of all levels, as well as being a team player and jumping in wherever I am needed. Yet again I have found myself wearing multiple hats, but it has allowed me to become the keeper of information. Some days I feel like I am air traffic control not only on my projects but also within the company guiding team members in the right direction or hunting down information so that I can direct people on the correct path so they do not have to set off on a wild goose chase. Other days I feel like my role is equivalent of a junk drawer - unsure where something goes, give it to me and I'll oversee it until we have a better organized system. Whatever the case may be, I am happy to tackle any situation that comes my way because at the end of the day I am always learning something new and growing from the experience.

In my role I work with both the studio and streaming teams to produce content that entices all types of viewers from concept to completion for both ongoing and limited series. I track trends and interests of different audiences in order to evaluate creative submissions and identify projects that will fit the internal brand as well as projects to sell with outside buyers to increase the companies portfolio and successfully entice viewers of all types. As projects are released, I focus on the data to understand the success of each project or how a project may need to correct course in order to succeed. I've focused on building relationships internally to increase cross-promotion within the Paramount brands while also networking externally to learn not only how other companies function and succeed, but also how to partner externally to increase brand awareness. I educate myself on the internal stakeholders and their needs as well as learn the movers and shakers within the industry that we should work with. I've also created systems to track up and coming talent that will soon make waves so that we are in business with them when they do. A lot of my job is managing managers along with creating a strong team-building experience that allows for collaboration and a supportive space for success internally. In order to succeed, a team must have information the moment they need it and I pride myself on being the person to provide my team with what they need whenever they need it.

As a Creative Executive of Film and TV, I reported to the head of the department as well as three Vice Presidents. I participated in the fast-pace world of creative development on projects in both television and film development in different stages of development, pre-production, production and post-production. I was responsible for identifying future needs of my team as well as organizing and prioritizing all requests. I managed and cultivated relationships with writers, directors, managers, and fellow executives at different streamers, cable networks and broadcast companies. Also, I analyzed writing samples, submissions for development as well as evaluated internal development and collaborated with the team on feedback on material. One of my favorite parts of the job was mentoring the coordinator and assistants to support them as they grow within their own careers! Hello Sunshine produces content with women at the center of the story that are on all different paths in life. I enjoyed evaluating material that fit within the brand and ultimately inspired audiences all over the world.

My roles at wiip provided me the opportunity to experience all different responsibilities that enhance my understanding of the entertainment industry. I liaised, created, designed and implemented processes for all the departments within the company to create a cross-functional team workflow. I generated, maintained internal grids and reports for the creative department while also tracking competitive sales and attachments diligently to aid creative leads in evaluations of potential development. I worked alongside one of the creative leads on 16 projects in all aspects of the development process within a strict budget. I also fostered relationships with agents, managers, writers, directors, producers, and executives at studios, networks, streaming platforms and premium cable networks. As a start up, wiip requires an all hands on deck approach and I wore many different hats. No job is too small, and I enjoyed being able to learn about all the different facets of the production process.

This includes: scheduling meetings, arranging travel, rolling calls, managing expenses, submitting director and writer deal requests, tracking submissions, and other daily tasks. My job involves manning the soundboard, choosing songs to fit with the theme of each show, plan episodes, and book and maintain relationships with each guest. Along with the title of Radio Producer comes many responsibilities with the organization including College Board Member.
