I handle the civil side of the practice including all family law matters, juvenile cases, and some special proceedings.

I help prepare materials for a class on Pleadings as well as research an area of law that my supervisor wishes to write a publication about.

I had the opportunity to interview clients, negotiate pleas, and conduct a trial in Criminal District Court in Wake County. I managed a case load of anywhere from 4-15 cases a day in various court rooms covering a variety of criminal charges. While there, I interviewed charging officers, witness, and presented pleas to the presiding judge. I had the opportunity to observe Superior Court and a few DWI trials.

Process deposits, manage the cash vault, and assist all managers with executive duties. I also facilitate the screening/hiring process of new associates, and manage sensitive documentation.

Help customers understand differences in gemstones, metals, and quality of different fine jewelry items. I assist customers with questions, returns, and searching for items. Answer phones, assist managers with specific projects, and fill-in other departments when short staffed.

Assist two county Public Defender's offices prepare cases, interview clients, and draft motions.
