Master cosmetologist

I was an ophthalmic medical assistant to 8 different eye surgeons. I primarily assisted the glaucoma specialist in the group. My duties included: scribing, data entry, write prescriptions, call in prescriptions and refills, assist in eye exam, work patients up, check vision, check iop, pre-op, post-op, travel from each office and surgery center, answer and triage phone calls and make appropriate appointments.

I was the assistant to 8 different Ophthalmologist and the primary assistant for the Glaucoma Specialist in the group. My job duties included: work pt’s up, check iop, refract, phone triage, travel between several offices and surgery centers, scribe for Dr, write and call in prescriptions when needed, make appointments, pre-op, post-op
