Current•Provided short-term, school based counseling for grades K through 12, using solution-focused and person centered approaches to address issues such as academic performance, social skills, self- esteem, behavior modification and attendance.• Advise and assist numerous students in crisis situations such as self harm, bullying, friendships issues, conflict resolution and classroom behavior issues.• Developed and presented social-emotional lessons on inclusion, whole-body listening, personal space, behavior modification and bullying in the K through 5 setting.• Directed and co-faciliated weekly groups on emotional awareness, coping skills and behavioral regulation.• Attended and participated in SST, 504, IEP and SART meetings.•Completed push-in lessons for K through 5 grade students using the Social-Emotional learning curriculum, Second Step.
