The HR Generalist is a business partner to the Distribution Center team and supports the evening shift. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role consists of “hands-on” management of human resources policies and programs within the Distribution Center team member population. Primary functions of this position include employee relations, team member engagement, coaching and development including performance improvement plans, training, and assisting in developing policies and programs that support and foster a safe, engaging, inclusive and positive workplace.

Provides an open line of communication to ensure policies and procedures are followed properly, provides recommendation on progressive discipline up to and including termination, mitigates and assesses risk in order to resolve issues. Acts as a mediator and identifies more complex issues that require investigations in partnership with Loss prevention, Legal and HR Leadership. Provides human resources generalist support for day-to-day administration of employee records.
