Sergeant with 17+ years at the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff, taking on various roles in custody, patrol, as a Field Training Officer, and currently as the Sergeant of the Special Victims Unit and High Tech Crimes Unit. I contribute as a member of the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), where I focus on internet safety and protecting the most vulnerable. In parallel to my law enforcement career, I grew a passion for blending law enforcement with software development. I developed a web application that optimizes the management of digital evidence within the High Tech Crimes Unit. This tool streamlines the intake process and management of evidence, and offers a real-time view of inventory, enhancing our operational efficiency.
