Responsible for supervising discipline superintendents in the completion and coordination of commodity installation inside containment at Plant Vogtle Unit 4. Requires day to day coordination with superintendents, area managers, and subcontractors to identify priorities and maintain schedule and performance.

While working as a civil superintendent I have supervised all civil crafts in many different installations. Including concrete, scaffolding, formwork, rebar, embed installation, partition walls, and insulation. All on a nuclear quality construction site.

Supervise ironworkers (rodbusters) in the installation of rebar at Plant Vogtle Unit 4 Containment. Daily tasks supervised include installation of rebar, quantity tracking and reporting for commodities installed. I am responsible for scheduling activities and coordinating with other discipline supervision to ensure that work area conflicts are avoided and that other commodity installations are not impacted by installation of rebar and embeds to meet the schedule.

Supervise pipefitters in the installation of piping and equipment commodities. Daily tasks include planning, coordinating, and supervising the installation and modification of piping systems to include underground and aboveground systems, the installation flush modifications in support of startup, and the performance of pressure testing for hydrostatic and pneumatic test. Maintain Civil commodities schedule in P6. Assist superintendents in developing scheduled activities and identifying necessary resources to complete activities on schedule and under budget. Identify opportunities to revise plan to improve schedule performance and balance manpower resources.

Internal audits, surveillances, vendor/supplier audits. Conduct audits as an audit team member on various processes and programs in EPC on current program.

Manage as built model and ensure safety of excavations. Excavation safety includes: verification that installed commodities will not be damaged during excavation and that excavation is made in appropriate location to avoid rework. Coordinate with other disciplines to plan and complete work, direct craft in some instances.

General DutiesPrepare and revise discipline and non-discipline construction related procedures. Support Field Engineering management in corrective action response to correct and mitigate recurrence of identified deficiencies. Assess non-discipline construction related processes to ensure verbatim compliance and to identify process improvement opportunities. Administer project software including PunchWorks and FCR/FCN Tracker.
