I am a Fellow with the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. I offer specialized one-on-one reading instruction utilizing the Orton-Gillingham approach. It is multi-sensory, language-based, structured, cumulative, cognitive and flexible approach used to teach a student struggling with letter/sound relationships, reading, spelling and/or handwriting. While fifteen to twenty percent of children struggle with reading it has been difficult to access help in the Savannah area. Dyslexia has affected me personally, through my family, and has driven me to find a way to help others in our area and to increase access to this scientifically proven teaching method to our city. I look forward to working with many students to help them crack the code!

I developed a cohesive marketing plan for JAJ Roofing including designing all new signage, marketing materials, website design and the launch of social media. I direct daily social media interaction, web site updates and a personalized thank you note program. I also initiates a Customer Referal System to increase word of mouth marketing.I established a chart of accounts for financial transactions and maintain subsidary accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions. I prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

I developed and directed marketing for the store including implementing Customer Connection through bi-monthly email newsletter, daily social media interaction, and personalized thank you note program. I also authored copy for print, radio, and television advertisements and coordinated and hosted alternating bi-monthly educational classes; identified topics, attained teachers, organized schedule, and marketed classes to community. I arranged quarterly charitable events including clothing drives, Holiday photo events benefiting various local charities, and food drives. I also initiated direct marketing program through local OBGYN offices and midwife clinics.I directed management of show room floor including sales, employee scheduling, and merchandizing. I managed the customer service department to ensure satisfaction from each customer. I directed special order operations; including placing orders with vendors, creating chart and calendar to track all orders, communicating delays to customers, scheduling shipments with vendors and deliveries with freight lines. I managed the back end of our website; including updating homepage, entering new inventory, posting stock availability and processing and shipping orders.
