Born into a family of accountants, Casey discovered at a young age a call to debits and credits and gladly became a third generation number cruncher. Her passion for numbers and unfortunate inability to forget them led her to earn her CPA license in less than a year! After graduating from Biola University, Casey dove head first into public accounting, but being partly insane, found the relaxing off-season to be less enjoyable than the perpetual challenge that is business accounting. Further, she prefers the boot-strapped approach of small teams to the brainwashed masses of corporate America which is why she has joined VeracityColab to rescue its collective creative minds from an unending spreadsheet purgatory. In her spare time, you will likely find Casey persuaded to uncomfortable extremes, including rock climbing, cliff jumping, century cycling, and spear fishing, or embracing her more mellow past times of tea parties, crocheting, snuggling up with a good book, or investing time in friends and family or the high school youth group girls she mentors.
