Crowne Plaza Terrigal is an award winning 196 room hotel providing services to the local and Sydney drive markets. Reporting directly to the General Manager and supported by regional management teams, I gained invaluable experience and understanding of the importance of the marketing function to business success. ACHIEVEMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES• Delivered the full marketing program for the Hotel, conference centre, 3 food & beverage outlets and day spa in absence of a Sales & Marketing Director for 2 years• Invited to form part of the Hotel’s Executive Management Team• Custodian of the Hotel’s integrated marketing and business planning process• Forecasted and reported on daily, monthly and annual business performance• Set the Hotel’s room pricing strategy, sell strategies and market mix strategy• Managed sales and marketing expenditure budgets to support business objectives• Planned and executed all national and local marketing activity including radio, press, direct mail, direct email, outdoor advertising, point of sale, websites, letterbox drops, tradeshows, charity events, sponsorship and photo shoots
