The team consisted of Managers, Solution Leads, and Configuration Developers. Non-SAP applications included Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Manufacturing maintenance and engineering applications, Documentum, support for company internet and intranet sites, and custom development on the .NET platform. During this period, my group also led IT's internal implementation of BMC Remedy IT service management suite.Team members were in Houston and multiple sites in Europe. Span of control was 5 managers and base staff of ~65 plus project contractors.Key accomplishments were:> Consolidation of North America payrolls on SAP> Global spend reporting in BW sourced from multiple ERPs> Consolidation of the SAP ERP systems.Aggregated savings were $10+ million from the global IT budget and direct and indirect business benefits exceeding $40 million. Separately, cost reductions of $2.5 million from my department's $14 million budget were achieved after the company's chapter 11 bankruptcy.Prior role was IT Senior Manager supporting Finance and HR. A key accomplishment was leading a major SAP ERP & BW upgrade project accompanied by implementation of BizTalk interface architecture and online training tools. Scope of project was 100+ matrixed team members and was completed on time and $1.5 million under budget. Other accomplishments were redesigning Lyondell's web site, implementing SAP Treasury, and implementing P&L reporting using SAP BW. -
