Born and raised in Rizal, Philippines, Casey has always been passionate about innovative projects that positively impact communities at the nexus of human rights and digital technologies. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Rights Program at Mahidol University in Thailand, Casey also serves as the Co-founder of KOMUNIDA, Inc, a non-profit organization committed to advancing art-based education and cultural preservation in the Philippines. Casey has developed and leads the Resilience Builders Project, a gamified peer-to-peer youth education initiative supported by the Youth Climate Justice Fund. Her deep commitment lies in co-creating thriving and dignified communities, where she and her organization strives to ensure a people-centered approach and uphold lay knowledge in community development amid digital era.Casey actively facilitates workshops and serves as a master trainer for social media marketing and branding workshops, mentoring over 300 women-preneurs from different parts of Visayas and BARMM, Mindanao. She has also facilitated co-creation workshops for climate action, circular economy and disaster resilience with children and youth to name a few. In 2023, she served as a Philippine delegate and for the eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN (EYAA) programme, Cohort 3, and has always been excited to share her knowledge and expertise to fellow youth leaders and learn from like-minded indvidiuals. Beyond work, Casey finds joy in writing and photography as she often travels to downtown Thailand for photo walks.
