In conjunction with MGA partners, develop, implement, and maintain personal auto programs in active and new states, including policy contracts, underwriting guidelines, rates and forms. Managing relationships with MGA partners, including contract negotiations, performance audits, and evaluation of potential program opportunities. Assist with development and implementation of commercial auto program systems, infrastructure, forms and rates. Ad hoc duties related to other commercial lines programs.

Develop, implement, and maintain personal auto programs in active and new states, including policy contracts, underwriting guidelines, rates and forms. Ensure compliance with all state laws, rules and regulations related to personal automobile insurance, including statistical reporting functions, on a continuous basis. Manage internal operations related to state market conduct examinations, company and agency licensing, audits from outside entities, and relationships with assorted 3rd party vendors as needed. Serve as subject matter expert in an advisory capacity to executive group and staff areas for development of company strategy.

Develop, implement, and maintains P&C underwriting programs, policies, and processes to achieve state, regional, and countrywide P&C strategic underwriting performance objectives across all lines of business. Maintain the relevance of P&C underwriting programs and policies as they relate to the industry, regulatory environment, competitive marketplace, and internal strategic objectives. Serve as a subject matter expert in an advisory capacity to other internal staff and operational agencies. Provide analytical support by monitoring and evaluating underwriting programs, policies, and processes as needed.

Management of personal lines products, primarily Personal Auto, across 27 states; rate and regulatory reviews; competitive analysis of products and rates; design, development and implementation of new programs and products; implementation of company action plans; internal auditing and compliance reviews.

Training of new underwriting staff; quality control/internal auditing of staff; performance reviews of staff and independent agency plant. Review new and renewal business for compliance with company guidelines; manage/develop agency plant; achieve profitable growth of personal lines business; special projects..
