To me, winemaking means working with my hands, my brain, and my palate. This means no two days are the same in my world and I treasure the variety of jobs I get to do as a winemaker. If I was a variety of grape I would be Grenache, because it's sunny and bright and is a general crowd-pleaser. It can be complex or uncomplicated and in the cellar it's a delight to make, because it is easy to deal with and almost makes itself.
