At K&S Dispute Resolutions, I use my twenty-two years of experience in various areas of law to assist in the resolution of matters. Having practiced on both sides of the bar, I understand the pressures and positions taken. At K&S Dispute Resolutions, every matter is taken seriously. My role as a “neutral” is not to just carry numbers between parties, but to get the parties to engage in hard conversations, which lead to resolutions. Any lawyer can mediate, so I went the extra step to become certified, which required intense training about the mediation process, psychology of conflict and negotiation. I also had to complete and pass a final exam to obtain my certification. By passing, I have certifications from PDSL, CIArb (Chartered Institute of Arbitrations), and the International Mediation Institute.Also, having grown up in a political family and having worked as a lobbyist, has prepared me to help those who use K&S Dispute Resolutions with creative resolutions.
