About Casey Carlos

An MA graduate in International Development, I have over 6 years’ experience in the small charity and international development sector. I am passionate about breaking the cycle of poverty and inequality through education, training and skills development, thereby unlocking opportunities that enable individuals and communities to fulfil their potential.Currently, I’m working as an Operations Manager and associate consultant for Fair Collective. Fair Collective is a not for profit freelancing and consultancy agency that donates at least 50% of its profits to small charities through pro bono support. With more than 100 associates, all charity specialists, Fair Collective can support your organisation with everything from fundraising to HR, strategic planning to websites. Fair Collective was founded by a small charity leader, especially for small charities. Today, we support charities of all sizes, with day rates by income level to make sure that support is accessible and fair for charities, no matter their size. What I love about my job at Fair Collective, and also as a Learning Co-ordinator at SIDCN, is being a connector! I love collaborating with people; helping others to connect, network, and learn from one another. Facilitating the wellbeing, learning and development of others in the sector is a huge priority of mine, as having experienced overwhelm in the past, I would love to support people working or volunteering in small charities and/or in the international development sector to thrive in their roles whilst ensuring their wellbeing. One of my other passions is organising events and bringing people together. Here is where my connector-passion really comes alive! Some of my most recent endeavours include the following:• I organised 7 webinars that Fair Collective hosted for Small Charity Week. We had over 500 registrations/event sign ups across all 7 of our events and great feedback all around. • I also set up all of the webinars and peer support groups for Vic Hancock Fell’s Small Charity Leaders Club. That’s coordinating 60 small charity leaders and allocating them to 5 peer support groups. Further skills: Developing resources on Canva, over 5 years’ experience in charity finance and writing grant applications and reports.

Listed skills include Uk Immigration, Legal Assistance, Immigration Law, Teamwork, and 32 others.
