I am the Tutorial Convenor for PSY2014S (Abnormal Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience) in the UCT Psychology Department for the second semester. In this role, I am primarily responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth-running of the tutorial programme within the course. This includes leading and managing the tutor team, consulting with both students and tutors regarding the tutorial programme, overseeing and moderating assignments, and assisting the course convenor with various administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities include tracking student progress through regular assessments, tracking of assignment submissions and attendance at tutorials and compulsory meetings. Additionally, promoting of academic success and enhanced learning experiences for students of varying capabilities and the invigilation of class tests.

In this role, I was primarily responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth-running of the tutorial programme within the course. This included leading and managing the tutor team, consulting with both students and tutors regarding the tutorial programme, overseeing and moderating assignments, and assisting the course convenor with various administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities included answering and helping resolve enquiries from students, staff, and visitors, in addition to greeting incoming students, staff, and visitors in a professional manner and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
