Develop and executed procurement plans for new accessory product development components and parts to support Yamaha Accessory Development team while meeting objective metrics (i.e., fill rate requirements, inventory turns, and total acquisition costs). Ensure all MSP supplied Work in Process (WIP) components and packaging requirements are addressed and met for all projects. Manage supplier relationships for assigned new and/or active parts and accessories. Coordinate the supplier selection based on established MSP standards over an assigned commodity base. Manage, monitor, and track supplier performance based on cost, quality, and delivery (CQD) objectives and ensure that suppliers meet the required standards and targets. Manage and administer Supplier Contracts/Master Agreements. Assist in developing the Budget for product evaluation, tooling, and development costs. Participate in MSP Supplier Pre-Assessments, Development and Evaluation Process (as required). Coordinate with QA and other related departments as required. Monitor supplier’s capabilities, capacity, and performance.

Acting role as the hub for all communication regarding imports and shipments from the international distribution center to each of the YMMC production lines by communicating with YMMC Purchasing Department regarding expected shipments, monitoring purchase orders, determining if shipments would arrive by air or container, researching ETA of containers online from Shippers’ websites, and controlling the Expected Containers Database by maintaining contact with container logistics.
