Casey Helbling is a software entrepreneur with full-lifecycle experience in design, development, and implementation of web and mobile software systems. He is a team builder and leader. He's passionate about culture. He strives to make the world a better place through entrepreneurial ventures.Mr. Helbling began his career building web applications for Imaginet and then as a consultant for the St. Paul company Fourth Generation. In late 2003 he founded Clear Consulting, LLC, an agile web development firm. In 2010, he founded Software for Good, GBC, a design-driven software development firm focused on making the world a better place by building digital solutions for companies doing great things.Mr. Helbling has delivered agile web and mobile solutions in domains including biotech, healthcare, nonprofits, e-commerce, social networking, social media, and renewable energy. At his current post as CEO of Software for Good, he has grown the team to 15 and continues to actively build a diverse, respectful, and intelligent organization. Mr. Helbling earned a BS of Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology and continues his education through membership and leadership in numerous organizations including Ruby Users of Minnesota (RUM). In his spare time, Mr. Helbling, serves on the board of minne✱ and MetroIBA. You can also find him running and biking the lakes in South Minneapolis where he lives with his wife Erin and three kids Carson, Maxwell, and Emerson.
