As an Information System Security Officer, I have managed hundreds of user accounts across many DOD organizations for both uniformed and civilian personnel ensuring qualified personnel are adequately trained and have access to non secure and secure networks. I have also managed organizational accounts, distribution lists, and group email accounts ensuring availability and ease of communication throughout organizations. As a Communication Security Responsible Officer (CRO) at United States Air Force, I have managed millions of dollars worth of cryptographic equipment up to the Top Secret level by diligently following DOD and DISA standards and procedures. By doing so, I have enabled command and control of air space by ensuring the secure and effective use of radars, jammers, and secret networks. I have also trained hundreds of personnel on the importance of communication security and operational security ensuring safe practices within DOD organizations. I am pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity Management and Policy at University of Maryland Global Campus, expected to graduate in December 2024. I have an associates degree from the Community College of the Air Force in Information Technology. I have a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity policies and practices, such as incident response, network security, and user management especially in federal organizations. I am looking for a mid-level cybersecurity position where I can apply my extensive skills and knowledge of the cybersecurity industry.
