Led a team of 4 developers in replatforming a legacy turnkey solution eCommerce site and bring it in house on an extremely abbreviated timeline (3 months). This solution was so successful that it has become the template for other eCommerce sites within Luxottica. Bringing this site in house started as a solely IT project but has given birth to an entire business unit within Luxottica. Since bringing the site in house, it has experienced a 15x revenue increase. Additional work on the site has included a patent pending design for online benefit utilization, enabling members from a large number of vision insurance carriers to use their in-network benefits for eyewear without having to file any paperwork at all.Developed and maintained multiple mobile applications on both iOS and Android.Functioned as principal technical advisor to eCommerce team and responsible for guiding major technical decisions and establishing best practices and coding standards for my development team.
