While my day-to-day involvement with Bugcrowd is scaling back a bit, I won't be going far - My commitment to everything we’ve built as a company, and as an industry movement, remains as strong as ever. I'll be representing Bugcrowd at key industry events, working with the team to engage with our breaker and defender communities, and will continue to advocate for policy and standards that advance crowdsourced security through initiatives like Bugcrowd's involvement in the Hacking Policy Council. ICYMI: Several major surgeries over the past four months have given me a lot of time to reflect on the past twelve years of Bugcrowd’s journey, as well as my own personal priorities and next steps. Transitioning to an advisory role allows me the flexibility to contribute to Bugcrowd’s ongoing growth, brand, and innovation, continue to focus on my health and family, and to spend time digging into the next thing/s.For those of who've reached out with well wishes during my surgery and recovery... Thank you. I’ve been touched by your messages and check-ins, they make an incredible difference. While recovery has been slower and more circuitous than I'd hoped, I am very happy to say that the surgeries were successful and I’ve since received a clean bill of cardiac health.

Stepping into the role of Chief Strategy Officer at Bugcrowd marks a new chapter in driving the company and the cybersecurity industry forward. Our goal is to amplify the Bugcrowd community's voice - encompassing hackers, defenders, CISOs, and cybersecurity practitioners - in key policy-making discussions and at pivotal forums like DEFCON's Policy Village.
