▪️ LEADERSHIPWore multiple hats. Hired, trained, and managed staff. Administered operating budget. Recruited 100+ players, negotiated contracts, built teams, and coached 2 all-Americans and 50 All-Conference selections to achieve winning outcomes. Participated in media interviews and led marketing campaigns to inspire new recruits. Promoted the sport as it expanded from an initial 10% participation to grow to 50% nationwide. Recognized twice as Coach of the Year in the NCAA Division III Southern Athletic Association Conference. ▪️ FUNDRAISING AND DEVELOPMENTGrew and sustained a strong alumni network. Handled small operating budget with immense needs through creative community outreach and nurturing relationships; efforts led to $100K in annual donations for Division III program.▪️ EVENT MANAGEMENTOwned and operated independent business that managed recruiting showcases, camps, and prospect days for up to 200 athletes per event, as well as a club lacrosse team with over 120 players enrolled every year. Developed strong vendor relationships, negotiated, and secured optimal pricing for event services including travel, lodging, meals, event spaces, as well as employing staff.Career Transition: Ended coaching career 90-64, as financial hardships forced the College to close in 2024. Relocated to New York ahead of shut down to transition skill set and pave a new career path in consultative sales.
