Led the development and responsible for performance for that site, which now generates the most traffic at Ariba.Designed and implemented major portions of a commerce took-kit including data-model, shopping cart, purchase-order generation and messaging, promotions, shipping and pricing model, and web-analytics. Implementation in Java and Oracle.Designed and implemented major portions of several releases of Ariba Discovery, a buyer/supplier matching engine. Implemented high performance and highly scalable processes to generate matching leads, create digests of daily matches and send notifications to sellers.Ported an open-source Web Analytics solution that consumes Ariba performance data. Lead efforts to promote and improve the analytics for both internal and external consumption.

Developed Vello Call, an audio conferencing system with dialout and other advanced features. Designed and implemented middle-tier, call flow features, and the billing system. Specified business processes and designed tools to support those processes. Specified GUI, features, tools, reports and web projects and managed a small team in India to implement them. Debugged and solved low-level telecommunications issues on live production systems. Linux using PHP, SQL and some Java. Also openSIPS and some Asterisk development.
