I am a motivated and personable business professional with a successful track record in both legal office management and criminal/civil court research. I have been working in and around the legal field for 30 years and have dedicated over a decade specifically to the background screening industry. The experience I have gathered along way prompted me to start Wise Court Research LLC. As the CEO of Wise Court Research, I am driven by the desire to provide above average customer service, while adhering to strict FCRA compliance standards. The Wise team has researched all 58 California Jurisdictions developed the best practices for overcoming the California redaction situation.I have served in various roles in the industry. I served as Chief Operations Officer for Validata, Inc., where I mentored and guided a successful background screening team. At Appriss Insights, an Equifax Company, I served as both Court Research Supervisor, and Vendor Coordinator where I was a part of a national team and supervised the workflow for criminal and civil court researchers and vendors. Prior to Appriss, I served as a contract court researcher for Crime Finders, Inc. for several years; providing criminal and civil background research in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. My experience also includes roles in criminal and civil litigation. My roles in civil litigation include Office Administrator for Borton Petrini, LLP; Legal Assistant for Friday, Eldredge and Clark, LLP; and Legal Assistant for Miller County Child Support Enforcement. My roles in criminal litigation include working for the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office and the District Attorney's office for 8th Judicial District of Texas. I have also held various board seats for local charitable organizations and very much enjoy volunteering in the community.
