My name is Casey Ophaug and I am currently a real estate investor. I am passionate about creating a positive change through business. We are able to do this by rejuvenating and redevolping communities one house at a time. I believe that marketing is the key to driving successful business. I obtained my marketing degree from UNCO. We utilize several marketing strategies as a part of our day to day operations. I am also passionate about personal health and fitness which is a part of my daily life. Advertising and Promotion Development – As part of a team, we created the winning advertising and promotion campaign for UC Health. This was a group project that required extensive research along with developing an advertising campaign and then presenting this to the marketing board of University of Colorado Health. This refined my presentation skills and allowed me to experience the full effort needed to effectively advertise a brand. It also ensured that I have good teamwork. Sports Nutrition Training and Experience – I have been trained by Max Muscle Sports Nutrition. I have also had a continuous working relationship with Max Muscle Hawai’i. This includes setting up their social media channels and their website. I have also been able to see everything that goes into starting a business as well as keeping it running. Leadership, Management and Teamwork Skills – While working for ABC Child Development Centers I was promoted to Site Director. I was in charge of up to 10 staff and upwards of 100 children at a time. It was my goal as a Site Director to work with all of the staff as a team. I wanted to lead and not just “be a boss”. This created a much better relationship and understanding between all of us working together. It also generated more productivity. It is imperative to work together to accomplish a common goal.
