Led the following departments in partnership with the sales organization to grow customer base and revenues: Dealer Credit and Collections; Dealer Commissions; Retail Commissions and Dealer Contract Administration. Team of 100 employees partnered with sales team to identify growth opportunities and service existing agent dealers and internal sales employees. Issued credit, serviced orders (in partnership with supply chain organization), invoiced, and collected on receivables. Through evaluation of current agent dealers, identified those that had operational expertise and financial ability to grow further. Also identified those where relationship should be wound down. Partnered with sales and HR on commission structure and then executed on implementing plan changes (with IT) and calculating complex commission payments for both internal employees and agent dealers. Managed dispute process. Partnered with IT to continually improve commissioning systems.Additionally, partnered with legal and sales on all contractual documents with agent dealers and corporate business customers.

Led the following departments in partnership with many internal partners to grown revenues and streamline operations: Dealer Credit and Collections; Data Content Settlement and Prepaid Operations. Team of 50 employees. Issued credit, serviced orders (in partnership with supply chain organization), invoiced, and collected on receivables. Through evaluation of current agent dealers, identified those that had operational expertise and financial ability to grow further. Also identified those where relationship should be wound down. Agent dealers ranged in size from single store operators to the largest retailers in the country.Partnered with marketing and business development organizations to identify revenue opportunities in the data content arena. Responsible for implementing tools to calculate revenue shared with content providers and other third parties.Partnered with enterprise to streamline operations of prepaid business. Worked with third party providers to simplify processes which reduced administrative work and created controls. Partnered with sales, marketing and agent dealers to promote prepaid business and improve customer service.

One of initial executive leaders in newly created function residing between finance and operations. Initially responsible for the following departments: Treasury, Accounts Payable, Travel and Cash Applications. Led a team of 150 employees that was a shared service to the enterprise and its customers. In addition to continuing Treasury responsibilities, not only managed funds of the company but also was responsible for funds coming into the company and being paid out of the company. Through this ownership, created greater efficiencies in the movement of money between our third party partners (lockbox providers, banks and electronic payment partner). Also owned relationships with credit card companies.Merged the Travel team into the Accounts Payable team. Implemented purchasing card program and online travel tool and expense reporting software. Reduced employee administrative time in booking flights and reporting expenses, allowing them to focus on their core responsibilities. Also created stronger controls around employee spend and earned a rebate from purchasing card provider.Responsible for customer payments: timely deposits, automated application to appropriate account through lockbox provider and prompt investigation of missing payments (in order to best service customer). Partnered with Billing and Legal organizations to provide customers a variety of ways to pay, make bill easy to understand and meet regulatory requirements.

Post announcement of acquisition of VoiceStream by Deutsche Telekom (and through one year past merger date) took over responsiblity of all Investor Relations functions. Developed working relationships with Wall St analysts, institutional investors and individual investors. Participated in road shows. Responsible for earnings releases and calls. Started relationships with industry analysts (Gartner, etc.).Kept responsiblity for treasury functions: cash management, investing, hedging, bank relationships, bank and bond compliance. Ultimately wound down external financing which was replaced by financing from parent company. At that point became responsible for relationship with parent finance subsidiary.

Post spinoff from Western Wirelss joined executive finance team at VoiceStream. Participated in all treasury functions, including bank, bond and private financing; financial forecasting; merger and acquistion support, including due dilligence and public reporting.

Joined company shortly after creation of VoiceStream subsidiary. Responsible for all financial filings to SEC and investors. Worked closely with legal and executive teams on other public reporting as a result of transactional activity. Created monthly internal management report.
