Sales Business Development Manager
CurrentAs the Business Development Manager at Truckstop.com, I lead a team of Senior Business Development Representatives (BDRs) whose primary focus is qualifying leads and handing them over to our Account Executives to drive new business. My role involves setting and maintaining a high-performance culture, ensuring my team hits Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and continually seeking innovative ways to generate and nurture qualified leads.Key responsibilities include:Leading, mentoring, and coaching a team of Senior BDRs to consistently meet or exceed lead qualification and handover targets.Collaborating with sales leadership to align strategies for new business acquisition and account management.Monitoring and analyzing team performance to ensure KPIs such as lead volume, quality, and pipeline contribution are achieved.Developing and maintaining relationships with prospective clients to ensure long-term business growth and opportunities.Encouraging a culture of experimentation and adaptability by implementing new strategies and tools to improve outreach and lead generation.Driving continuous improvement in processes and performance through feedback, training, and real-time support.Reporting on team progress and business development metrics to senior leadership.In this role, I ensure that the business development efforts align with Truckstop.com’s larger goals, building a strong foundation for our Account Executives to close high-value deals and grow the business.
