Perform Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, and private pay billing, account follow-up, and payment posting.• Revenue cycle management • Code claims using CPT and ICD-10 codes • Generate and sent superbills for payment. •Monitore balances and followed-up to ensure timely payment. • Post payments in EMR and reconcile reports.• Review aged insurance accounts to determine reason for non-payment by insurance company and take appropriate steps needed for account resolution.•Make phone calls and search carrier web pages resolve open and denied claims in clearinghouse• Bill or rebill claims as needed.• File appeals for incorrectly denied claims.• Coordinate with client offices to gain necessary attachments or updates on codes needed for claim resolution.• Work with patient or guarantor to resolve any outstanding coverage or COB issues with insurance company preventing claim resolution.• Review EOBs/ERAs from payers to ensure all adjustments posted correctly and to determine guarantor amount due.
