• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department and four employees• Assist and complete a wide variety of projects and data analysis for the CFO, utilizing accounting software and Excel• Continually evaluate processes and procedures for efficiency and ability to improve• Precisely forecast expenses and revenues for yearly budget for three facilities• Analyze and reconcile 20+ general ledger accounts for month end closing• Verify all month end leadsheets prepared by other employees • Effectively research discrepancies and budget variances• Create monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP• Prepare daily bank reconciliations for two bank accounts• Evaluate all Club Seat, Suite, Advertising and Super Suite contracts• Review final event invoices in accordance with event License Agreements• Verify and approve all payroll entries and ensure employees are paid correctly • Review all Accounts Payable entries for accuracy and post to general ledger• Professionally settle all CenturyLink Center Omaha ticketed events with promoters • Maintain rapport with four internal departments and many outside clients• Responsible for external audits including the Financial Statement audit and Workers Compensation audit• Prepare the yearly Form 990 as well as multiple Census and professional surveys• Responsible for accuracy of fixed asset listing and monthly depreciation• Prepare monthly cash flow
