My main responsibility on any project is to keep the project on time, on budget and at the highest quality possible. To accomplish this I need to provide my team with what ever assistance I can to help them complete their assigned tasks. Many times we are working in conjunction with a client’s internal team. Typically, I am managing between seven and fifteen projects simultaneously. Projects have spread across the Military, Medical, Industrial, Aerospace, Automotive, Sporting Goods, Communications, Personal Electronics, Government, Housewares, and Point of Purchase industries. As the Design and Engineering Manager, I disperse work between seven people to create the most efficient workflow possible. I am also responsible for developing and maintaining department standards and procedures. This department is responsible for industrial design, engineering support, graphics, project planning, mechanism design, quality control, test development and execution, creating technical drawings, and computer modeling.
