With Moby Group, we're creating TV, radio and digital content for secondary school girls in Afghanistan. TV, with its massive reach, is our starting point.

Create a mapping of digital inclusion of refugees in basic education in selected countries and identify recommendations for UNHCR and governments on improving digital inclusion of refugees.

As one of EdTech Hub’s country leads and part of the engagement team, I support the government in implementing digital literacy and digital content and provide technical assistance to projects and initiatives in eastern and southern Africa.

I provide technical assistance to low and middle-income countries on implementing EdTech, translating research and best practices into actionable advice.

Within the team, I advised on the research methodology and analysed international best practices in K-12 e-learning resources for K-12 education; I used the results of a survey to inform changes to the DepEd Commons repository of Open Educational Resources (OER) and conducted a SWOT analysis of the platform, including suggestions for improvement.

I conducted a literature review to identify examples of Public-Private Partnerships in education, with a focus on educational technology. These led to threats, constraints and opportunities for the private sector in the EdTech space. The work included a classification of the types of EdTech interventions. This classification was based on the work I did with Generation Unlimited.

I developed a global repository of digital tools and platforms for learning and skills development.

At Knowledge Platform, I built, trained, and managed the 30-people content team, and have been responsible for creating instructional videos, games, and formative assessments. This included SOPs, standards, prioritisation, quality control, and a direct report to the CEO. My responsibilities further included finding, creating and maintaining strategic alliances; instructional design, country rollout, and quantitative assessment of learning outcomes.

As a researcher / consultant, I'm responsible for carrying out assessment studies and reporting on them. Further, I have assisted in conducting a Proposal and Report Writing training.

Project.Rolling out an assessment system allowing children homes to monitor the wellbeing and development of the children. This entails training caregivers, designing a protocol and creating clear manuals for the caregivers in Sinhalese.

Organizing the selection procedure for the Psychology faculty. As of the academic year 2005-2006, the faculty is allowed to select 275 of its 550 students itself.

Improving and expanding the use of the electronic learning environment and supporting teachers and students. Implementing a plagiarism procedure and plagiarism signalling system. Also other ICT and education tasks.

Organizing a new website for the department. Advising and informing students on study possibilities abroad, within the Netherlands, and providing career advice. Several projects: renewing the structure of the website of one of the faculties, creating a structure for the webmasters within this faculty to synchronize activities, implementing a time registration system.
