In this role I had the full responsibility for the global marketing and product strategy for the 4 verticals (Land, Aviation, Maritime and Gateways) we operate in. T&T´s matrix organisation was decided as the way forward. This meant SeaTel, in California, Tracstar in Orlando and Omnipless in Cape Town moved away from a classical P/L structure with individual GM´s to a global matrix organisation. The Seatel business in Concord, California (a 100m$ business) was put under the T&T maritime business. I lead the integration on the commercial and product related part of the business where Seatel and T&T had both competing and complementary products. My primary job was to get alignment around the existing product portfolio, establish the future product as well as maritime G-T-M strategy and work out the future maritime strategy.Reporting to the SVP of Cobham Satcom -
