Use customer service skills to schedule appointments to physically troubleshoot hardware issues in the home and build a rapport with the household members so that they don’t mind me entering their home when the need arises. I assist patrons with logging onto the computers in the lab, paying for print jobs, checking out laptops, and basic technical computer assistance. I have also assisted and taught introductory computer classes. I have developed brand new classes in Facebook, Gmail, and the Google Docs suite. I have made spreadsheets for tracking the use of laptops that we check out to patrons. I make the flyers to promote the bi-weekly movie matinee at my branch. I assisted in making quick reference guides in regards to library databases and applications using MS Publisher. I also provide basic technical assistance with patrons' personal laptops and tablets.

I enter customer information into the library database to sign them up for library cards. I assist patrons with using the self-check kiosks and return unit. I sometimes have to use problem solving skills to correct patron accounts when items have not been checked in properly. I use the computer system to check in returns and process patron holds. I check DVDs and CDs that patrons say won't play for damage and send them to be processed if possible or remove them from the system if they are broken beyond repair.

I was a licensed substitute teacher with CCSD. I have subbed at every grade level (K-12). I was a support staff substitute before so I have also guest taught special education classes for teachers that I had previously supported.

Main duties consisted of providing customer service to Cox Business customers, residential telephone customers and hotel guests trying to use the internet in their rooms. I would use the computer system to verify the status of the customer's equipment and reboot it if necessary. I would also make notes on the customer's account of the steps taken to fix the problem in the event of a repeat occurrence. I learned the ins and outs of Cox Communications to be able to answer any and all customer questions.

I would count the tills before and after the shift. I managed 4 other employees during the shift. Restocked candy and merchandise when necessary. I would check DVDs that customers said would not play and would either clean them or send them to be processed or get damaged out of the system when appropriate. I would check in returns by verifying that they were in the right cases. I would process new releases and prep them to be checked out.

I made room reservations and checked guests in and out, maintained cleanliness of the cabins, cleaned the bathing facilities, assisted in groundskeeping, assisted with FOH and in the kitchen of the on-site restaurant, including short-order cooking, and helped out on horseback rides, including overnight camping trips.
