Work with IPMD anti-gang task force to identify gang members and activities. Cafeteria duties to ensure that students are safe and orderly during all five lunch periods. Under the direction of the Principal, I assisted in the administration of the entire educational program. The role of the Assistant Principal also coordinated student body activities, assisted teachers and staff members with the implementation of the District’s discipline plan and student recognition programs promoting a positive school climate.

Taught basketball skills and techniques to young men from the ages of 15-18. Our team competed in a 23-game schedule in the metro league conference with 8 other local schools. Students were required to attend mandatory student hall four days a week from the hours of 3:15 to 4:45 which resulted in better study skills and raised the team overall GPA from a 2.1 to 3.5. Team members were placed on a mandatory curfew during school nights at 10:00 p.m. All five of our seniors went on to further their education at a post-secondary institution.
