As a student at the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business I study Business Analytics and Marketing. I am involved in student organizations, where I have fostered connections and learned about how our differences help us to excel. I maintain various leadership roles, including Peer Mentoring with incoming Tippie students, as well as working part-time throughout my school career. From cashiering at local grocery stores, to being a barista at a local café, to learning social media marketing skills as an intern, I have learned a lot about what helps a business succeed. These experiences have helped me learn strong leadership, teamwork and time management skills. I have worked with Estela's Fresh Mex as a student marketing intern, to learn about what day to day operations look like while marketing for a small business. I learned a lot about what it takes to promote a smaller business, and how difficult it can be to grow a social media presence when you are first starting out.I am currently working with Caterpillar Inc. as a Marketing Intern for their Equipment Training Solutions group. Here I am learning about the difference in marketing at a large company, and what it takes to grow awareness of a newer program. I have grown my analytical skills significantly, and I have gained experiences that will stick with me my whole career. After graduation, I am hoping to foster my love of lifelong learning throughout my career.
