My role was to manage our team of paraplanners and financial planning administration staff. In my day to day role, I was responsible for the broader financial planning team’s continued growth and performance by facilitating delegation of work between the advice and administration teams, creating and maintaining processes, and providing business analysis to locate areas for improvement and efficiency. Beginning my financial services career in 2009 as an administrator at a boutique financial planning firm, I progressed through the ranks as an office manager and then practice manager, before taking on the Head of Operations role with The Hopkins Group.Drawn to the collaborative nature of the industry, I am driven to ensure that my team and I work together to benefit clients. I am a firm believer in taking stock of the bigger picture and focusing on whole of life health – financial, emotional, physical and mental.
