Diagnosing failures of both equipment & product (Transformers for Utility Companies) on the test floor.Writing Test Procedures & Standard Operating Procedures for equipment and test processes.Analyzing data from High Voltage Marx Generator to optimize performance, whether improving processes, updating equipment with new electro-pneumatic parts (Festo), and installing pressure monitoring devices. Assessing current patterns to determine issues within transformer core and magnetizing patterns with Doble M4000.Plotted partial discharge/radio interference in 3D space by triangulating position inside transformer via acoustic signals with PDIX software & equipment. This involved thorough understating of Tektronix oscilloscope, PDIX software, partial discharge patterns, and discharge behavior in mineral oil.Completed R&D testing on transformer internals, which included high voltage impulse, hipot, and partial discharge induced testing. Assessed values and analyzed behavior in detailed report submitted to designers.Gathered and assessed data to be compiled into transformer test report. Final values to be analyzed included aforementioned testing, as well as core loss, load loss, and zero sequence testing. Investigate abnormal test results with thermal heat run testing, both cold & hot winding resistance values, thermal values, and other data collected from thermocouples and DV Power unit.Six Sigma Green belt project focusing on optimization of MG motor set by writing Marcos to analyze data output form Labview Console. Data collected/analyzed for an Overall Equipment Effectiveness with Minitab.Experience with power utility equipment/testing, Doble, RSG/RSO GTN by Haefely, Vanguard, and much more.Oversaw the hiring of interns and currently managing them. Assigning duties and projects to fresh hires.
