Customer service has always been apart of my work since I have been of the age to work. It has also been some that has been very important to me both when I am working and when I am on the receiving end. I use every situation as a learning experience so I can better the next situation I am in.So far my favorite types of work have been doing hair and dispatching, and it sound strange to say that they have a lot in common. They both give direction, take control of situations, have planning involved, constant change, flexibility, let you be creative, and so much more. in both fields you build strong bonds both with costumers and teams. I worked with Goyette Mechanical for almost 10 years until this past February. I was hired in a as receptionist in December of 2004 and moved up to a dispatcher in April of 2005. From there I was moved up to a Lead dispatcher/ Dispatch Supervisor in the spring of 2020. While working with Goyette I was an on call supervisor, I went out of state to MSCAA dispatch training, completed Dale Carnegie training, and also completed Future Leaders. I won an award as service employee (office) of the year.Prior to Goyette I was actively doing hair. I have had my Cosmetology license for 19 years. The main places I have worked for are Great Clips and Sport Clips.

    As a service administrative assistant, I have different things I am responsible for. The incoming calls that could result in setting up service calls, status of quotes, status of parts, relaying account balances, and questions regarding an invoice they received. It is my responsibility to make sure the customer on the phone knows we as a company appreciate their call and to deliver the best customer service experience possible. I am responsible for tracking parts that have arrived and some parts that have been ordered. To track parts that have come in for the service department I created a parts list. This list gets updated as the parts come in and sent out to the appropriate contacts. Doing these parts list has helped to improve the communication between the service department and the parts department. I assist our estimator with upcoming projects. This may include writing up the initial job number, helping to prep with pulling permits, organizing job site clearance, ordering parts, and when the job is done calling for final inspections. Sometimes with these projects jobs down the road there maybe return visits and warrant work may need to be done and I have helped assist with warranty returns and the paperwork that is associated with that. Accounting plays a part in my role. This includes me paying attention to details on invoice proofing before I send out a final invoice to a customer. Sending out collecting invoices to customers to remind them they have a balance past due is part of my job at times as well. I work with filing. I am working on updating the filing system to make it easier and more manageable. I am responsible for invoices that have been sent out with the proofs and also for payment receipt tracking. Over time I have been working on developing a system for our CSD-1 and RPZ filing as well to more efficient.

    As a Dispatch Supervisor I was responsible for day to day tasks in our dispatch area. I would train our new employees on our policies, procedures, and the computer program system. I would help to run the multiple teams open maintenance hour, open service job, and open quote job lists. Each month I would complete one on one meetings with 6-8 dispatchers. One on One meetings would include having them give us feed back on what they felt was going well, what input they felt would help to improve their job tasks, anything that they felt they needed to get off their chest, etc. This was also a time for me to give them goals and feedback on what needed to be worked on. As a supervisor I also helped work on different reports for contract renewal reports estimators, sales reports for estimators, accuracy of service calls written, etc.

    As a service dispatcher I was responsible for a team of 15-20 technicians. I had to scheduled their daily jobs, track their parts for return visits and quoted jobs, Order parts when needed, keep a list of their open jobs to include their service calls, quoted work, and maintenance work so nothing would get missed. Another important part of the job was keeping the customer updated as to what was going on with their job. As a dispatcher I would also answer the incoming phone calls, approve invoices from our vendors, write up approved quotes for our estimators, and help cover other dispatchers when short handed. While dispatching it was I was also put in charge to oversee some of our larger third part accounts, Some of these accounts would require me to track photos, paperwork, invoices, contracts, portal uploads, etc.
